TOUR PLATINUM Selected for All Five ATP Asian Swing Events

Players competing across the ATP Asian Swing will use YONEX TOUR PLATINUM as the official match ball at all five events in 2026. With the same ball in use from one tournament to the next, the expanded partnership provides greater continuity for players as they move between events across Asia.

Two New Events Bring TOUR PLATINUM to All Five ATP Events

TOUR PLATINUM was selected as the official ball for the Chengdu Open, Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships, and Rolex Shanghai Masters in 2025. In 2026, the Hangzhou Open and China Open join the lineup, bringing TOUR PLATINUM to all five ATP Asian Swing events, from ATP 250 to ATP Masters 1000 level.

On the WTA Tour, TOUR PLATINUM will also be the official ball at three events in Asia in 2026: the China Open, Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis Tournament, and Kinoshita Group Japan Open. Together, the ATP and WTA partnerships will see TOUR PLATINUM serve as the official ball at eight events across the Asian Swing.

Supporting Preparation From One Event to the Next

As players travel across Asia, each tournament brings different courts and conditions to adapt to. Having the same match ball from one event to the next gives players a familiar element as they prepare for their next match.

TOUR PLATINUM is a World Tennis (formerly known as ITF) and JTA-approved ball developed for consistent flight, bounce, and durability in professional play. For tournament use, it has also received the approvals required for use at ATP and WTA Tour events.

By supplying the same ball across all five ATP Asian Swing events, Yonex aims to reduce one variable as players transition between tournaments.

Understanding what players encounter on court and finding practical ways to support their experience has long guided Yonex product development. The same approach extends to its tournament partnerships, with TOUR PLATINUM helping players move between cities, courts, and conditions throughout the 2026 Asian Swing.
