Review of production process
We strive to streamline our work and ensure that production activities are efficient.
Introduction of energy-efficient production equipment
- We have introduced highly efficient heating furnaces in the molding process for rackets, etc.-
We are working to shorten drying times in the painting process for rackets, etc. by introducing new equipment -
We are working to efficiently heat and cool the factory by introducing air conditioning equipment that consumes little electricity.
Actively introducing renewable energy
- We are promoting a company-wide switch to electricity derived from renewable energy sources, focusing on our factories, head office, and other locations with high electricity consumption.
- Our German subsidiary (YONEX GmbH) has installed solar panels on the roof of its building, and now generates its own solar power to cover more than half of its annual electricity consumption.
Calculating Scope 3 CO2 Emissions
We have introduced a greenhouse gas calculation and visualization cloud service to calculate the Scope 3 CO2 emissions of the entire group. Going forward, we will set CO2 reduction targets, including Scope 3, and proceed with our efforts.
Switching company cars to eco-friendly cars
We are switching company cars used for sales promotion activities from gasoline-powered vehicles to eco-friendly cars such as hybrids and electric vehicles.
