YONEX UK TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to www.yonex.co.uk (the “Site”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site, your orders, purchases, and all interactions with YONEX UK LTD. Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with our products or services, you agree to these Terms.

3. Your Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to make a purchase. If under 18, parental or guardian consent is required, and the parent/guardian accepts responsibility for the minor’s actions.

You agree to use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You must not:

  • Upload or transmit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Introduce software viruses or malicious code.
  • Interfere with Site operations or bypass security.

6. Product Information

All product listings, descriptions, colours, weights, and specifications are for general reference and may vary due to device differences or supplier changes. Product availability on the Site does not guarantee stock at all times.

7. Ordering & Contract Formation

How Orders Work

All product listings are invitations to treat, not offers.

  • Your order is an offer to buy the listed items.
  • YONEX UK accepts your order when the products are shipped (or made available for collection), forming a binding contract.
  • We may decline an order for reasons such as stock unavailability, errors, payment issues, or suspected fraud.

Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This is not acceptance. Acceptance occurs later as described above.

8. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT.
  • Shipping charges are additional and will be shown before purchase confirmation.
  • We may adjust prices prior to order acceptance.
  • You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the full order amount.

9. Delivery

We deliver within the UK mainland to home or carrier pickup addresses.

  • Delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed.
  • If delivery fails, carriers may leave products at a neighbour or pickup point.
  • Split deliveries may apply where reasonably necessary.

10. Returns & Withdrawal Rights

Statutory Right of Withdrawal

You may cancel a purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of goods under UK

Distance Selling Regulations, provided the products are unused and in original condition.

How to Return

Initiate returns via the Site or our Help section. Return shipping costs may apply unless the product is faulty.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt (or proof of return).

Exclusions

Certain goods are excluded from returns — e.g., personalised items or health/hygiene products if seals are opened.

Purchases from Authorised Retailers

Please note that this returns policy only applies to orders placed directly through our official website (www.yonex.co.uk).

If you purchased your Yonex equipment from an authorised retailer (such as a local pro-shop or another online store), your contract of sale is with them. In this case, you must return the item directly to that retailer, and their specific terms and conditions will apply.

We cannot process returns or refunds for items bought through third-party sellers.

11. Voluntary Return Guarantee (30-Day Returns)

In addition to statutory rights, we offer a 30-day voluntary return window for standard products where the item:

  • Remains unused and undamaged beyond normal inspection;
  • Is returned in its original packaging (labels intact).

We may reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

12. Defective or Damaged Goods

YONEX UK will replace or refund items found to be defective due to manufacturing faults. Wear and tear or damage from misuse are excluded.

13. Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

14. Submissions & Content

Content you post (reviews, comments) must be lawful and accurate. You grant YONEX UK a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use such content.

15. Intellectual Property

All Site content — text, images, logos, designs, and brand names (e.g., YONEX®, ISOMETRIC®, POWER CUSHION®) — is owned by YONEX UK or licensors and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

16. Third-Party Links

The Site may include links to third-party sites. We do not control such sites and are not responsible for their content.

17. Promotions

Promotions (such as giveaways or contests) may have separate rules. Where there is a conflict, promotion rules prevail.

18. Warranties & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Site and products are provided “as is.”
  • We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

19. Limitation of Liability

Except where prohibited by law:

  • YONEX UK will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Our total liability for direct losses is limited to the price paid for the product.

20. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify YONEX UK against losses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

21. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site for violations of these Terms.

22. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Informal Resolution

Before legal proceedings, you and YONEX UK will attempt to resolve disputes amicably.

Arbitration / Court Options

  • Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996, if both parties agree.
  • You may also pursue small claims in the UK Small Claims Court.

23. Consumer Rights (UK)

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer protection laws, including:

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015;
  • Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013;
  • Distance Selling Regulations.

24. Severability

If a provision is unenforceable, remaining Terms remain in force.

25. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
