About this design
Taufik Hidayat's racquet is red signifying his fighting spirit. The black on the top and bottom of the frame demonstrates power, and the upper right and bottom left are coloured like a white flash.
YONEX did extensive research into finding the best shade of red for the main body of the racquet, using subtle gradations and checking for colour changes under different lighting conditions. The rich deep red that YONEX developed expresses the strength and pride of Taufik Hidayat. It also makes the design bold and eye catching.
The logo on the racquet is an original design. It represents the fact that Taufik Hidayat’s spirit is in every detail of the racquet.
About the performance
- CS CARBON NANOTUBE
- Increased durability and improved flexibility allows the frame to return back to its original shape faster. Positioned at the sides of the racquet, CS Carbon Nanotubes improve the frame’s elasticity holding the shuttle on the string bed for enhanced control at the point of impact.
- ISOMETRICTM
- The ISOMETRIC equalizes the length of the main and cross strings in the string-bed, enlarging the sweet spot for more consistent accuracy even on off-centre hits.
- NEW Built-in T-Joint
- The lightweight “New” Built-in T-Joint is manufactured from an epoxy resin material that enhances quality and performance by increasing the stability of the shuttle on the string bed and through the air.
- NEW Control Support Cap
- YONEX has designed a new octahedron shaped Control Support Cap that reduces air resistance whilst encouraging nimble handling.
- ULTRA PEF
- The shaft is constructed using “ULTRA PEF” – Ultra Poly Ethylene Fiber – which is light enough to float on water yet able to withstand immense forces. These characteristics allow for maximum shock absorption.
- NEW GROMMET PATTERN
- The single-pass grommet hole construction provides more grommet holes for a more high-performance stringing pattern.
